After a Fraxel Laser procedure, the plastic surgeon, who was Chief of Plastic Surgery for 9 years at a major U.S. hospital, recommended this. It is very soothing, and it has been used daily every since. The consistency is excellent, has no fragrance, and provides superb protection against the sun. Anything available at any department store cosmetic counter is not even remotely in the same classification as Elta MD cream. This is the cream recommended by physicians.

I loved this product when it was in a tube, as I could carry it around in my bag and there was no risk of bacterial contamination! Now I have to stick my fingers in the tub and it is too bulky to carry around! They should change the picture!
